What do you do for a living? How old are you? Why do you play? There's a lot of people that play this addictive game, (me included.) and I'm sitting here at work, rather bored. It's interesting to meet new people that have the same interests as you, so I will start.
My name is Amanda, I'm 22 years old, and I play a 70 Warlock on Thunderhorn, Alliance.
I've been playing since September, I'm in a raiding guild, and I enjoy hanging out with my guildies, and shooting the breeze.
I work for Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield, here in Virginia, and I sit here all day, talking to ungrateful people. Ahh..customer service, and what I would give to be at home, doing my dailies for no reason other than boredom.
I just got an elephant pet, Peanut. He's awesome, too.
My most enjoyable instance...hrm. Heroic Bot..only w/ a pally tank.
Most hated instance...I'd say H-Shadow Labs..or Slave Pens. I hate the naga. and I hate Blindheart.
I'm a tailor, and a miner. I have a lot of rare patterns, but I'm actually considering giving up tailoring, since I can't make any gold from it anymore, since nethers are so easy to get now. I love mining. It's relaxing, don't know why. :P
I have a 6 year old niece, who loves WoW. She actually runs around on a lvl 1 BE hunter. lol. It's funny. After she made my repair be 30g on my main, I said..no!
That's about it. Who's next!
I've been reading these boards ever since I came across them at work, enjoying the posts, and the information :)
So I'd like to formally issue a hello!
I've been playing on Thunderhorn since September, and I currently have a 70 Destruction Warlock, full t4 set and other goodies, and we have gotten Tidewalker down to 30% (last night, actually). I love my guild, there are a few people in there that really can tick you off, and it makes me not want to play this game.
You could say I'm pretty addicted. To the point where some days, I don't even want to go to work, just so I can be at home, and play WoW. It is really starting to affect my life. I know the answer is to step away from the game, but I find that to be difficult, simply because it is an enjoyment to me, and there's not much in my life that I consider to be such anymore.
How do you move from the stress? Do you just smack some of your guild members across the head, and tell them to stfu? lol.
I even lived with my boyfriend, and was in the same guild, a 70 Rogue. We ended up breaking up, and a lot of it was because of WoW. He'd sit and play all day, while I busted my butt off at work. He was jealous that the guild enjoyed me more, and wanted me to raid with them more, simply because I'm more of a delightful person o.O
I don't know...why did WoW have to come into my life? :(
